Chie Schuller, Consultant
Chie Schuller believes building bridges across cultures leads to powerful opportunities to collaborate and achieve collective growth and success. Finding commonalities amongst differences is one of her greatest strengths.
She was born and raised in Miyagi, Japan, and always dreamed of relocating to the US to pursue a career in Japanese language education. She came to the US as an exchange student when she was a senior in high school and continued her college education in the US.
She fulfilled her mission and started her career by teaching Japanese language and culture to K-12 students in the Midwest.
After leaving teaching profession, she has been working in US-Japan related business for over 20 years and worked over 17 years in a Japanese corporation in Ohio. She facilitated communication and relationship-building between Japanese and American executive leaders and provided cross-cultural trainings. She developed and led the team of Japanese and English bilinguals while also providing support for Japanese expats and their families.
She brings her personal connection to the Japanese and US cultures, as well as her deep understanding of cultural and generational diversity and innate empathy for individual experiences to her work
